Hemosch/Todt Archtop 1950s. A very rare German made Archtop made with all solid woods. Spruce top and Maple sides and back, a 7 piece neck with a rosewood fretboard and an ebony bridge. Also has a killer single coil PU made by Rellog.

Hemosch was the distributor of this guitar ( hench his label in the guitar)and it was masterbuilt by Todt a well know luthier of the period in Germany. Although no label from Todt - he made many instruments for distributors of this period and the appointments are of his hand and Very fine appointments indeed on this guitar. It has a beautifully crafted headstock with matching chunky pickguard, triangle inlays on the neck, ebony multi bound bridge and a hammered metal tailpiece. A Very unique guitar that sounds amazing. The neck is a chunky U shape profile that is narrow at the nut and with the current setup has decent action. It could still be lower and easily done with a bridge adjustment.

There a quite a few blems of the finish on this guitar on the neck and top. The back looks surprisingly good for the age. There is also a couple of areas where the lower bout is bulging slightly from the top. Small but noted. also the top has some separation below the tailpiece. The pickup face shows wear but still sounds amazing! Really a unique killer sounding archtop. This guitar was previously owned by Randy Bachman of Guess Who fame.

An amazing opportunity to own a very rare unique instrument that looks and sounds incredible. Nice provenance too!

This comes with a nice semi hard case.
