The S540BM was a Japanese made model from the Ibanez Saber "S" series of slim superstrats produced by the Fujigen factory during the 1990's.
Unlike the more common FM version with a flame top, the rare BM featured a burled maple top and back on a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (jumbo frets, 648mm scale length, Super Wizard profile), it weighs a super nimble 3.3kg's. Loaded with a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo with a locking nut, DiMarzio-made IBZ/USA F1/C3/F2s pickups and Gotoh tuners.
Great used condition as pictured with only basic signs of wear and tear from general use. The frets are shiny and play well with plenty of life left and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss. It appears all original except for the missing tremolo arm and replacement volume knob.
