If you are in the market for one of these you know it is a very rare bird. Especially in Europe!

This is the short lived version of the Sunburst with a carved highly figured maple top, Nitro lacquer and a Floyd Rose tremolo. Only available in this configuration for a few years.

The Hamer Sunburst was discontinued in 1992 so this is one of the last ones made. In 1992 Hamer also switched from nitro lacquer to Urethane (Poly) finish. This one still has nitrocellulose lacquer that is preferred by most guitarplayer. The thin nitro definitely has a better tone and ages more beautiful.

It features a beautiful killer flametop with super deep carving. Strong 3D effect on the flametop from all angles.

It is in a very good condition and is all original. There are some small indents here and there and some beautiful lacquer checking on the body and neck - as to be expected for a Hamer from this period. Also the typical binding slightly detaching in a few places... but steady and not increasing Please review all pictures.

The neck and frets are in good order, all of the electrics and switches work as they should. This guitar has been well looked after and is in a good clean condition. The neck is nice, fast and very comfortable; and it goes without saying that this guitar plays and sounds fantastic.

It comes with the original Hamer hardcase and even the tools and holder for the headstock - How cool is that!

Weight is 8,92lbs / 4.05kg

The high quality of older Hamer guitars cannot be overstated - which is why they have a cult following these days. This one will appeal to both players and collectors alike. Don't miss out...

Will be packed super safe for shipping !
