Hohner Verdi III B Piano Accordion LMM 41 120 in classic marbled mother of pearl (MOTO)

3/4 LMM reeds, on the treble side there are 41 keys, 18.5"(47cm) key to key, 1 register. On the bass side there are 120 bass buttons and 0 registers. These puppies are around 8-8.5 lbs but the included cushioned straps made in Italy support the player well! Comes with an Hohner tolex/ red velvet OHSC. The keys and marbled mother of toilet seat finish are aged but not warped or cracking and has been cased for the majority of its life. The aging is likely a cause of the celluloid material off gassing in the case but does not effect durability or play. No cosmetic blemishes, scratches, or wear to note and the aging of the celluloid shows off typical player positioning. The estimated circa date of this one ranges as Honer did not form a serial number system until 1930 but it is likely that this beautiful example left Germany between the late 20s-early 30s. Most at this age need a full restoration internally and it is unknown if this example has been overhauled previously but everything works as intended, lungs are in good shape and no leaks!
