This is a great guitar to use on anything you’re recording to give it a unique sound. Especially as a lead instrument or if you’re recording an acoustic song you can use this as a doubler to give your tracks a really great sound! The weak link to this era of German guitar building is the strip tuners. Later model Framus tuners have made this a guitar that stays in tune and Framus being a German company keeps the guitar all German. The fabulous striped binding is all original and fully intact! This Archtop guitar would make a great addition to anyone’s arsenal and it plays great and has low action. D shaped neck Weighs 5.6 pounds. The neck is very straight which is really important since this example has no truss Rod but no worries . It’s had a straight neck for more than 60 years! The frets are in great Shape. Occasional marks on guitar but no cracks or dents or anything that needs repair. . For the price this guitar will give the new owner hours of fun and inspiration plus it’s really a conversation starter.
