Gibson-Gold ABR-1 “Wired” Tune -0-Matic Bridge and Aluminum Stop Bar Tailpiece - Combo.

Dating back to the early 1950 under the watch of Ted McCarty. The Original metal Bridges used on many of the first Solid Body guitar models from Kalamazoo, became the perfect tailpiece assembly for the revolutionary ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge introduced in 1954.

This Iconic combination Bridge and Tailpiece are still State of the Art today with that Vintage old style appearance and resonate properties of the lightweight Aluminum Stop Bar Tailpiece. 

The Stop Bar Studs and Anchors are fixed into the top for adjustable down pressure and string angel across the bridge for enhanced brilliance and sustain.  

The ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic Bridge enables string hight “action” adjustment and individual bridge saddle screws for string intonation. Together the Bridge and Tail work to maximize playability, intonation and allow the player to find their personal feel or sweet spot of the guitar.

This Gold plated Gibson ABR-1 Bridge and lightweight Aluminum Tailpiece are Authentic current US production, Mint condition.
