Incredibly unique Norlin Era Les Paul custom that's painted black over cherry burst. From sides of the finish, you can see the original paint. It's very unheard of for Gibson to do this - typically this guitar would have been sawed in half and thrown away. It appears a Gibson employee had another idea with this one and just painted over it.
Aside from the cool story - it plays great. No fret issues - super low action and build like a tank. Has an ebony fretboard and everything on it is original.
