Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...

A well played and mostly original 1973 Fujigen Gakki Made in Japan Electra Model 2245, known as the Super Rock, Les Paul Style with a Brand New Glarry Vintage Style Hard Shell Case!

Be sure to check out the video demo we did for this cool guitar. Including the Lawman Blooper at the intro...LOL...

This guitar was played...a lot...we did replace the broken three way switch with a new Switchcraft.. The rest, including those cool looking tuners are original! The guitar was well used and had numerous dings, scratches and such...All player wear. It was a work horse for someone. I can see why, it sounds and plays great!

We dated the guitar from the date stamps on the Maxon Pickups. They date to Jan 20, 1973. See pic 6. These were the earliest date stamped Pickups Maxon made. Very early and very cool. Love the Chrome cover on the neck and the open Style on the bridge. Very very cool and they sound massive!

Electra was made by Fujigen Gakki. They also made such other fine branded guitars to be imported to the USA such as Avalon, Domino, Greco, Heit, Kimberly, Lindell, Noble, Sekova and Zim Gar. All quality branded guitars!

When we got this guitar is was not only whooped like you see, but super dirty. It had been in storage for a really long time. Fortunately, all the original parts were still there and all working but the switch. Jeff the Tech set it up with a new set of 10 gauge Dr Ducks Strings and checked out all the electronics for proper operation. We did replace the switch. Those are always worn out. It plays with great low playing action. No sore fingers with this guitar!

The guitar has a 24 3/4 inch scale neck and the nut measures 1 11/16 inches. It only weighs 7 lbs 15.5 ozs. Pancake body like the Gibson guitars of the day.

I really thought the tuners had been replaced. I had never seen these tuners before on any guitar. When I took them off for cleaning, there was no extra holes. They are original. I have no idea what they are but they are very high end and work perfectly. From there the nut, truss rod cover, frets, pickups, pickguard, bridge, tailpiece, back plates and knobs...all original!

As stated earlier, this guitar is far from a closet queen. Its been played... a lot. Some pitting on the original frets but still plenty of life for most players. It has many dings, scratches and places of finish being banged. Check the pics. We did not attempt to cover up any war wounds. It definitely looks vintage!

Check out the cool Brand new Glarry Vintage Style Hard Shell Case. Fits the guitar great! An excellent case for your cool Japanese SG guitar!

Beautiful but its vintage and used so it's sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
