IT'S TIME TO GIVE IT UP. I purchased the horn as a sixth grader, in 1956, and played it through high school and majored in it in college at Crane School, Potsdam, NY. Too busy with other things to show it much attention since.
So, I have a quality package of a fine instrument plus a deluxe case, in great condition as follows:
- Roth Reynolds (Cleve, Il) Tenor Trombone with F attachment
- Contempera TO-12 Model 370
- Bore: .520" (Large) Bell: 8 1/2" Slide Stamp: 57812
- Body: Brass bell with nickel-silver braces
- Valve: Rotary valve with F attachment tubing
- Slide: Brass outer slide with brass sleeve and trim, nickel silver braces with brass ferrules; chrome-plated nickel silver inner slides
- Finish: Polished brass with clear lacquer - Slight wear as seen in photos
- Up-graded case: Gladstone 3
