new SCL301 student Bb clarinet.
Understanding that a student's success is based on the acoustic quality of the
instrument, the body of the SCL301 features the famous Selmer Resonite ABS plastic.
This highly resonant material is reamed, drilled and undercut by digitally calibrated
and computer-controlled machinery in Elkhart, Indiana to ensure ideal response and
excellent intonation.
The newly designed keywork of the Selmer SCL301 is not only rugged enough for the
classroom but features larger, more comfortable touch pieces that are placed for easy
reach of any size hands. The thumb rest also features a neck strap ring for greater
support and control.
