1997 Yamaha LEX-8BL - Black (Made in Japan)
This model was hand made by Fumio Naruse (Yamaha's most famous luthier) and was part of a limited run between 1996-1998. It is constructed entirely of solid mahogany (super full sounding). This guitar has the serial number "002" meaning it was the 2nd guitar of this model made by Mr. Naruse. This is also the black finish variant of this model which was produced far less than the natural variant. As for damage/alterations it is purely cosmetic. There is a minor scratch on the top (image 8), finish fogging on the headstock, and the pickguard was removed. The truss rod has been tested and is easily adjustable. Feel free to ask questions.
