By the way, I have been customizing guitars for over 40 years. In the 1990s, I would go to the Guitar Center in San Francisco or Los Angeles with a professional musician I was close to, and buy a Gibson guitar after having it checked with an emphasis on playability. We also paint guitars, but this Strat doesn't have any peeling paint and the paint is in very good condition for its age, so we just polished it up. Fujigen is a representative example of Japanese vintage guitars, but if we just paint it because it's high quality and make it look like new, it will lose the vintage feel, so this guitar looks great even though it has some sun damage and wear.

The first photo is a recommended part color set that I personally think goes well with rosewood and looks cool. The photo was taken with the parts just placed on the body. The pickguard is new and has a protective sheet on the surface, so it looks dull. When you peel off the sheet, it is shiny.

We will remove the sheet at the shipping stage, but if you would prefer not to remove it, please contact us after the auction.

The original vintage color is a combination of a white pickguard and mint green parts, but we will add photos of the plastic parts placed on the body in various color patterns.

We will also send you the genuine original Fender Japan parts that were removed.

If you replace them, you can make it a real relic, not a processed relic.

As you know, the ST62 is a reproduction model of the 1962 Stratocaster, and Fujigen manufacturing is very high quality.

The body is made of alder, the neck has a thin grip, and the fingerboard is rosewood.

The neck is in particularly good condition. There are no noticeable dents or scratches, it is smooth and very clean, and there is no warping at all.

Although rosewood is granted special exemptions due to the Washington Convention, restrictions on the export of materials remain in place, and the value of rosewood is so rare that it will only rise, not fall.

The pickups are supposed to be Texas Specials, and they have the sound of a Fender Strat.

If you like the vintage style, it's said that the ST62 is OK, but it's also cool when you combine the worn-out poly-coated body with new parts.

Scalloped guitars are easy to hold, so they're good for fast playing, but they also expand your range of expression. I personally think that they're suitable for playing styles that involve crying guitars that play important short notes that match the melody, such as choking and vibrato, that penetrate the heart, convey the vibe of the player, and move the listener.

Scalloped guitars are rare, but they're not only looked up to by guitarists, including professionals, but they're also looked up to by guitarists. They're popular, with people asking to play them! Let me play them! Let me play them! The percentage of fret wear across the entire fret is about 30% (1st string), 20% (2nd string), 10% (3rd string), almost 0% (4th string), 0% (5th string), and 0% (6th string). Since it is scalloped, there is a height from the valley of the scallop to the top of the fret, so even if it wears down significantly in the future, it is easy to ensure that the height is sufficient in the future without affecting the performance by just sanding it down without having to re-strike the frets.

It was stored for a long time with the strings strung and hanging. As you can see that it is always hanging in guitar shops, it is said that hanging storage is the most valuable guitar because it reduces the burden that can lead to warping of the neck compared to other storage methods.

Although it is about 35 years old, the wood is in very good condition, and it is a rare Fujigen-made high-quality Strat that makes you want to put new parts on it. Highly recommended.

Shipping

Worldwide shipping from Tokyo. For goods with hard cases we usually pack hard case and contents by cushioning material (usually bubble wrap). There has never been a problem with that shipping method so far. However, if you want a hard case to be included in cardboard, I can ship by that method if you pay additional $10. This applies only to products that originally have hard case.

Items are generally shipped on Mondays and Fridays. For safety reasons, items that can be removed from the body and neck will be shipped with the body and neck removed.

(Sunday and public holidays is not business day)

We usually ship with a tracking number.
