Fender Custom 1955 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic - AOLW (#376)

This Fender Custom Shop guitar was built as a "Custom Order" by the Fender Custom Shop. The basic idea was to create an instrument inspired by David Gilmour's famous Stratocaster #0001. The result is a guitar with a vintage character and exceptional playability.

The body is made of alder, following tradition, while the neck is crafted from quartersawn maple and features a comfortable Mid '60s Oval "C" profile.

The maple fingerboard has 21 Medium Vintage / 47095 frets and a compound radius ranging from 7.25" to 9.5".

The electronics follow a vintage setup: a set of Fender Custom Stratocaster Hand-Wound '54 Single-Coil pickups, delivering a warm yet articulate tone.
