Extremely rare military spec Jensen speaker. If you're here you probably know the lore.
This speaker (and another also listed) have been re-coned by Alan Helms. This one has a piece of felt covering one of the terminals (pictured) as one of the screens deteriorated after 69 years.
Some of you may be familiar that these speakers aren't accepted by most manufactures to be re-coned bc of their shallow baskets and the uncommon phenolic dust cap. Alan was able to cut the original (and signature) Phenolic dust cap out of the original speaker(s) and repurpose it in the new cone. BAM, brought back to life and sounding just like the original. (I tested it back to back with one with the original functioning cone).
