Purchased brand new from Ken Smith June of 2024, Have other financial priorities and decided to sell. Price is firm as I’m not breaking even.
Never gigged with. Bass has about 10 hours playing time in studio and is a remarkable instrument. I’ve played many fine Basses and Guitars - Sadowsky, Lakland, MusicMan, PRS, Anderson and Suhr, all are fantastic instruments, but IMO these Ken Smith‘s are on another level and works of art. Balance is spot on, notes very clear and ring out for a long time. Spacing is ideal for 5 string - neck is not too wide, strings not too close together.
Dual battery 18 volts electronics. Each pickup has a series/parallel/single coil switch. Active 3-band preamp.
Includes padded strap with locks, padded TKL gig bag and two extra sets of Ken Smith Stainless taper-core strings
