1960 STRATOCASTER, Slab Board, Black, OHC - THE MOJO!  code FE38 

October 1960, serial number # 54426. This guitar was bought in 1980 from Guitar Trader in Red Bank New Jersey, exactly in the condition you see it today. by then, it was already20 years old and had been played and played and played.. refinished Black from the original Sunburst and showing the correct type of "whitish grey" undercoating used by Fender in the 1950's for their Custom Colors.. could have.. might have... being refinished by Fender early in it's life or shortly after..hard to imagine that at that time, some random person would be using the correct type of undercoating..??  at some point, before 1980, it was re-fretted professionally with correct frets wire. All original parts. Original Fender-Fender saddles. Original Kluson single line, the three pick ups are original with original windings. Reading Bridge 5,55 Middle 5,8 Neck 5,6 - Light weight 3,453 Kg, Original 3 way Switch, Original Tremolo and Pat.Pend  Saddles..resonant..great sounding and playing vintage Strat with so so so much Mojo.. Comes in Original Fender Brown Case.
