One of the most famous, and coveted, bass guitars in history of modern music... the Hofner 500/1 Bass Guitar.
Sir Pauls hails from 1963 (yes his Original that was just found again, is 1961) but his 1963 500/1 is known around the world, perhaps the Universe.
So much so, that basically everyone calls it "The Beatle Bass".
Many companies have tried to reproduce this Bass - either as an in-expensive bass or a hand built higher end marvel of craftmanship but nothing can replace an Original 60's Hofner 500/1.

This Consignment bass is in Excellent condition, especially for it's age.
The original finish is in surprisingly great condition - most you see of this era have much more wearing thru the thin finish.
Plays like a dream, strung up with Flatwounds and has had a neck reset (as most have needed it) and now it's ready for the gigs!
Original electronics date to the 7th week of 1966, comes with ohsc.
