This vintage Fender MIJ thinline Telecaster from 1996 is completely restored with a 2000s MIJ Pawnshop thinline neck (features the spaghetti logo and bullet truss rod). The body is totally original with the exception of some fantastic upgrades: vintage Made in USA 1990s CTS pots, CRL switch, lightweight Made in USA vintage reissue knobs. The dual Wide Range humbuckers (11.5k bridge and 12.6k neck) sound fantastic and the electronics function perfectly.
The body has two small repaired holes from a previous 4 bolt neck plate (shown). They have been carefully filled and finished and are partially covered by the original Fender 3 bolt neck plate.
The 2000s Thinline neck is original and in excellent condition with only two upgrades: F logo cream button Fender MIJ Mustang tuners are installed and the back of the neck has been slightly deglossed for faster playing. Overall this is a superb neck in excellent shape with only very light wear.
The addition of this neck makes this a one a kind vintage Thinline reissue now with some modern specs: 9.5” radius, medium U profile, 1 11/16” or 42mm bone nut, and 21 medium jumbo 6105 frets.
This guitar is also a featherweight at just 6.1 lb . . . the tone is phenomenal and the lightweight chambered Ash body makes this one resonant and a blast to play.
Bonus hard shell case + extras included. Ships tracking and fully insured with UPS. Thank you for viewing my Reverb shop.
