This amp is a behemoth—putting out 300 watts at 8 ohms from a quad of 6550s, it was built to rival the high-powered Ampeg bass rigs of the early '70s, and it really gives the SVT a run for its money. Needless to say, it also weighs a lot, so be prepared for some heavy lifting! After designing the even bigger 400 PS, the Fender folks went back to the drawing board to built a slightly smaller (but still insanely overpowered) version that could serve as both a bass and guitar amp. This is the result. It sounds fantastic and has more volume on tap than you could ever need, although the master volume makes it quite versatile.
This example is a road warrior, with plenty of wear and tear from a life of making music. Despite the scars, the headshell is still very solid and the amp works perfectly and sounds fantastic. It's currently loaded with a trio of EHX plus one Ruby 6550 in the power section, driven by a 6V6. The metal grill back panel, although not pictured, is included.
I ship anywhere in the world--if you're outside the US, please message me to determine actual shipping costs. PLEASE NOTE: this is an extremely heavy and somewhat delicate amp, and while it'll be packed with extreme care, shipping damage is a real possibility. Buyer accepts all risks.
