VERY RARE! Slant Sig Berg Larsen for alto sax in hard rubber. These pieces are very hard to come by. This is a particularly early example, with only the tip opening stamped. It's marked 95, and measures the correct .090" (Berg Larsens generally run .005" smaller than their markings). The baffle and facing length are unknown, but may be a 2M.
This piece had some work done on it in the past, including the addition of a ligature line, but nothing which affected the tip opening. There's some discoloring on the shank, and the markings are well-worn.
This would be a great lead alto piece, with some nice projection without getting overly edgy.
