This is a beautiful 1957 Les Paul Custom Black Beauty VOS from the Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection. It is the soul of rock and blues.

This is the Les Paul that once you pick up, you never want to put down. The tone is out of this world, and the neck is super comfortable to play.

I purchased this incredible axe new for my collection in 2006 and played it only to test upon arrival. I have stored it carefully in a humidity controlled environment. It still has a the original VOS decal on the pick guard. 


In my opinion, Gibson Custom built some of their best instruments during this time period. The ebony finish with gold hardware, block inlays and VOS treatment is out of this world. The build quality and tone is A+++.
