Features

The UAD-1e Express PAK from Universal Audio consists of a short form PCIe card that is compatible with the high-speed PCI Express (PCIe) bus used in the latest generation of Apple desktop Mac's and PC motherboards. The processor on the card is the same as the one found on the regular PCI UAD-1 and likewise runs UA's suite of plug-ins, offloading the computer's CPU for other native mix effects or virtual instruments. 

The Express PAK comes bundled with five UA Powered plug-ins that range from dynamic processors through EQs, to reverbs and more. A voucher with an equivalent value of one-hundred dollars is included with the card, and can be used to purchase additional plug-ins from the Universal Audio plug-in line (via the Internet). The UAD-1e and original UAD will work perfectly well together on an appropriately configured motherboard and both can be authorized for the same plug-ins.
