For sale is a beautiful Selmer Mark VI 5 digit alto saxophone!

This horn is a prime era Selmer serial #87xxx with its matching #87xxx neck!

This horn is sitting on old pads.  It will be up to the next buyer if they choose to give this horn a fresh pad job.  That being said this is a great playing piece!

This horn is a killer playing saxophone!

We have just given this saxophone a full setup on its older pads.  The horn is playing up and down and speaks extremely well.  We have many Mark VI altos and this horn particularity has a highly focused powerful sound.  Exactly what you would want and expect from a horn of this serial number!  

This horn is being sold as used has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, weld marks various patina or other anomalies associated with such an old vintage instrument.

Please check out pictures 20 thru 24.  There is a past repair that has left a weld mark and metal wear patina.

This horn comes with a badged Selmer tray pack case however the outside is duct tapped up.
