The muSonics Vanilla Envelope is an ADS(R) EG and VCA based on the circuits of the Oberheim SEM.

The VCA has its control input normaled to the positive output of the EG, so you only need a gate signal and audio signal to get a meaningful output from the VCA.

The envelope generator is an all transistor design except for the output level shifting and inversion, and the integrated VCA is a dual OTA circuit based on the 3080 VCA in the SEM but with increased input gain and uses both OTA cells of a 13700 chip to increase signal-to-noise ratio and reduced ringing in the output buffer stage.

It also features internal headers for connection to the cv/gate bus, two positive EG outputs, and VCA signal I/O.

The power connector and physical format is American format and therefore physically and electronically compatible with Synthesizers.com systems and any Moog format cabinets and rack frames.
