For those of a certain age (50+), you may remember DEG Accubore barrels. These were barrels made out of aluminum and had some models that had fins or ribs and some models (like this one) that were solid black. The company went out of business in the late 90s or early 2000s, I think. They are no longer being made.
The model C66D is a 66mm length barrel designed for professional clarinets made by Selmer, Leblanc and Yamaha. The C66D model has a reverse tapered bore. The D suffix in C66D indicates a 'Dark' solid barrel (as opposed to the ribbed fins model). (3) tuning rings are included to increase the barrel length.
