With its solid Urban Ironbark back and sides, torrefied spruce top, and Grand Pacific dreadnought body shape, the 517e delivers a totally unique tone profile within the Taylor line. Players will hear a muscular yet sweet response with remarkable balance across the tonal spectrum, offering power and clarity in equal measure. Inside, our V-Class bracing dials up more power and longer sustain, drawing out more of Ironbark's rosewood-esque qualities and enhancing the seasoned, warm character of the Grand Pacific body. Subtle appointments such as a green abalone rosette, faux tortoiseshell binding and Marquise inlays in Italian acrylic round out the package, which includes ES2 electronics and a hardshell case.
