1994 Foto-Flame Cherry Burst Stratocaster - MIJ
- Good condition for its age

Issues
- Frets carefully dressed; still some normal play-wear
- Fingerboard shows some play-wear
- Body has typical+ Foto-Flame issues - cracks, dings, dent, and errors befitting a 32-year-old guitar
- Original parchment pearl pickguard is broken

- Neck is excellent - straight and true
- Thick Rosewood fingerboard
- Fingerboard feels great
- No buzz and the frets are smooth and glassy
- "Hamburgler" on the neck
- Some Foto-Flame issues have been glued to some extent. The rest is 32 years of play-wear
- Tremolo STAYS IN TUNE - small cotton pad added to dampen spring noise
- Trem feels great and floats seductively
- Fender Noiseless "Jeff Beck" pickguard added ≈ $330 value
- Original pickguard - re-glued and included in the sale
- Original tremolo back-plate with screws included in the sale
- Brand-new replacement parchment PG included in the sale
- Original pickups/electronics installed in the new parchment PG and included in the sale
- New RoadRunner Avenue II gigbag included - $70.00 value
Over $400 in parts alone made this instrument an incredibly good player.
SELLER'S NOTE:
I could have done a deeper fret-leveling and dressing. I did not as I was concerned that it would effect play so much that a full fret replacement would be needed. In its current state, the instrument plays really well and I don't notice the minor bumps. A full fret replacement could be done; I don't think it's worth the effort. The frets are glassy and smooth, and feel great so I chose to only complete what was necessary.
