Made in Japan in the mid 1980's, the Yamaha BBVI-A was a no frills option from the BB series. A single BB P style bass pickup with master volume and tone controls, alder body, painted maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 860mm scale length with 21 frets (44mm nut width). Weighs 4.1kg's.
Well loved vintage condition as pictured, received a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a deep clean, fretboard oil, fret polish and truss adjustment. The neck is straight and the frets have life left with mild signs of use and playwear. Appears to be all original.
A note for international buyers: Our Reverb shipping quotes for basses and longer guitars are with the neck removed (when possible) to reduce the size of the package. If you'd like to have it shipped with the neck on please contact us for an exact quote via UPS.
