This listing is for a Tama Starclassic Performer Series (Birch/Bubinga) 14x7 Snare drum in gloss white oak finish.
This drum is in stellar condition, and has a tuning range that’s absolutely amazing! In addition, it’s been upgraded with the Tama MLS50AC Linear Drive Snare Strainer and MLS50BC Butt Plate. This Tama premium dual strainer system is featured in their S.L.P. Snare Drum Line (see pictures).
This 9-ply drum has an inner and outer ply of bubinga that’s a harder tone wood that accents the projection of the 7 inner plys of birch. In addition, the 10 lugs and 7” deep shell provide an overwhelming amount of depth and tone. With Tama’s die cast hoops, the combination provides for the ultimate in snare drum tone, projection, precision, and build quality making it like no other drum on the market…
There is one very slight blemish on the batter side hoop (highlighted), but it’s extremely difficult to see. Very very minor areas of pitting on the hoops (also very difficult to see), which keeps this gorgeous one-of-a-kind instrument from being mint, but certainly in EXCELLENT condition.
