Vintage RARE 1963 US Strad Stella Parlor Guitar New Strings Pro Setup

A very RARE Parlor Guitar... Its a 1963 US Strad thats all original. Built like a Stella and the same size as our favorite Parlor Guitars. This one is in great shape!

Here's some info we found on the internet regarding these cool guitars...

The mid 20th Century parlor guitar called the US Strad was made by The United Guitar Company of New Jersey. They took over the factory and plant of Oscar Schmidt in New Jersey after the bankruptcy in 1939. Most, if not all of the guitars from this company suggests they manufactured in  the 1940's,  1950's and early 1960's at the latest.

This guitar was set up with new strings by our own Jeff the Tech. It now plays with easy on the fingers low action. The guitar has painted bindings, painted pickguard and painted fret markers. It has the original tuners which are open back Waverlys which we are used to seeing on all the Harmony guitars from the same era. Original nut, bridge and tailpiece. The guitar is laminated and has a unusual 25 1/4 inch scale neck with a huge 1 7/8 inch nut. It has a nice full handfull of a neck. Not a baseball neck profile but larger than we are used to in a Parlor guitar. Big hands will like this one.
