This is a combination bridge saddle and pickup assembly from a 1947 National Aristocrat archtop. The wooden base on this contraption is missing and a replacement will have to be sourced generically before the bridge can be used properly.

This odd pickup is very heavy, nickel plated and quite well-made. Pickup works but is fairly weak. Pickup/ Bridge is 4 3/4 inches long and the base adjustment wheel stems would have to be 4" center-to-center. Designed to be multi-adjustable via height wheels on the wooden base and secondary height wheels on the saddle/pickup. It's an exceedingly rare and esoteric musical invention that probably didn't last long in production.

Be the only guy on your block to feature this beauty on your favorite archtop.
