【About this guitar】

The LL series has the original jumbo type body and is a representative series of Yamaha.

This YAMAHA LL-8J was made in 1998.

This guitar has a very long sustain, which is not available in the FG and the L series.

Thanks to its Coral rosewood back/sides and excellent solid Ezo Spruce top, it sounds elegant.

Coral rosewood was Yamaha's wood of choice as an alternative to Brazilian rosewood.

It has acoustic characteristics similar to Brazilian rosewood, resulting in a very brilliant sound.

(Many Yamaha fans speculate that the coral rosewood is Madagascar rosewood or Honduras rosewood.)

This model is highly regarded for its sound quality.

Scalloped-X bracing with asymmetrical shape adopted for this series is a completely original design developed to make high notes more crystalline and low notes louder.

【Specifications】

Top: Solid Ezo spruce

Back & sides: Coral Rosewood

Neck: Mahogany

Fingerboard: Ebony

Action under E1 string (12th fret): about 1.8 mm

Action under E6 string (12th fret): about 2.5 mm

【Condition】

Some areas of the finish are cloudy, but otherwise remains in excellent condition.

No wood cracks or other issues.

The neck, the fingerboard, and the frets remain in very good condition.

The truss rod has enough room for adjustment.

There is no problem with the belly bulge and the adhesion.

【Component replacement】

It has been restrung with ERNIE BALL phosphor bronze extra light.

Brand-new bridge pins of cow bone are set.

【Cleaning】

The entire guitar has been carefully cleaned.

The fingerboard has been cleaned and treated with lemon oil.

The frets have been polished to remove rust.

【Case and Packing】

The guitar will come with a YAMAHA hard-shell case.

(The case shape is optimized for the dreadnought size, so it may be a little tight for this guitar.

However, for transportation and storage purposes there is no problem.)

The case containing the guitar is packed in a cardboard box.
