The OLP MM1 solid body electric guitar is in very good condition and includes a tweed-style hard shell case with red plush interior. The shorter scale neck and high fret access make this a great practice guitar though it’s certainly gig-worthy. This guitar has some minor scratches on the top and back but is in otherwise excellent condition.
The OLP MM1 delivers the essence of popular high-end equipment at a fraction of the cost. You get the high quality construction, tone, and appearance, all at a very affordable price.
OLP Guitars was a guitar building company that marketed licensed production of famous models by other makers and discontinued manufacturing in 2008. The company's name stands for "Officially Licensed Product". OLP has worked with Ernie Ball, Music Man, among other companies.
The instruments were manufactured in China to specifications making desirable instruments available at low prices. The OLP MM1 model is a version of the Music Man Eddie Van Halen model.
Some folks like to upgrade pickups and parts on these guitars to suit their needs but I think this guitar plays fine as is.
