Beautiful 1930‘s Ludwig. I believe it’s a solid maple shell.
Time piece strainer works smoothly. Snappy snare wires.
Some of the paint stripped. Most of it can be seen where the drum head hoops meet the shell. At some point, the drum heads may have been on too tight and stripped some of the original paint when taken off.
There are a few slingerland style clips.
This drum sound amazing. They don’t make them like they used to.
