The original neck was damage, and the previous owner somehow managed to cut and fit the aluminium checker plate to the body, not sure if it’s covering 2 single coil pickup recesses or 1 humbucker recess. Prev-Owner obviously wanted the one pick up volume/tone kill switch theme ;)”
Think the aluminium has been cut a little rough round the bridge and pickup area but hey Ho, I bet once a neck and strings have been fitted to it, it will be a stomping belter!
