This custom made TPP Lonnie Mack "Number 7" Tribute Flying V Deluxe Special Edition has been crafted by The Painted Player Guitar Company, using an Epiphone Limited Edition 58' Korina Flying V which has been beautifully finished by our dedicated team and features accurate 58' USA profiling including the brilliantly designed 'grip strip' (stopping the guitar slipping when seated), Kluson Tulip machineheads, 58' Epiphone Elite PAF Humbuckers and genuine Bigsby B70 Vibrato - mounted to the guitar with a custom crafted steel 'beam' just like Lonnies' original guitar.  The guitar has been aged with incredible attention to detail and captures the true essence of this iconic piece of musical history.  A unique and wonderful tribute guitar, she comes complete with FREE Fitted / Shaped Hardcase with Buy it Now / Asking Price. The History

Revered as one of the most influencial blues rock guitarists of his generation, Lonnie McIntosh (AKA Lonnie Mack) has inspired the likes of Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughan with his unique flavour of guitar playing, most notably his masterpiece "Wham!", from which the term 'whammy bar' was coined for Mack's use of his Bigsby tremolo during the classic blues rock instrumental.  Throughout his career, Mack has been accompanied by "Number 7" - his iconic Gibson Flying V, which was purchased off of the production line in 1958 and was the seventh 58' Flying V ever made.  The guitar was heavily modified some years later and now features a Bigsby B7 tremolo system, anchored to the bottom of the V by a piece of steel!!!...
