Vintage 1980's Sennheiser MZQ100 model microphone clip Electro Voice 642 RE10 RE15 # 2

 You are looking at an older 1980's era Sennheiser MZQ-100 model microphone clip that is in very nice used and excellent working condition. This is an all plastic mic clip with a brass anchor / thread. A very high quality and rugged piece that is almost indestructible.

 I'm not sure what microphones were originally used with this mic clip but I can tell you a little secret. As seen in pics # 6 - 9 this mic clip makes an excellent adapter for the older heavier Electro Voice 642 shotgun microphone. That 642 was originally sold with a very specific, expensive and hard to hind shock mount in which to mount to.

 Because of the rarity and expense of finding those old E.V shock mounts these MZQ-100 mic clips fill the void. The smaller diameter of the mic clip and it's rugged firm design means you can easily mount the heavy 642 to it and you'll have zero issues. It's the only mic clip I know of that will work with the 642 mic. All other mic clips are just too flimsy and fragile to use.

 I have sold several 642 model mics with these Sennheiser mic clips and have never had any complaints or bad feedback from them. You can use these on E.V RE10, RE11, RE15, & RE16 model mics as they will also grip them with gorilla force making sure those expensive mics don't fall out.

 The MZQ-100 will screw onto any desk or floor stand you have and the upper portion will tilt back and forth as needed. It has adjustable tension as well via a small side screw.
