Super cool short lived Gibson designed series explorer! Looks awesome and very of its time. This one has had some minor modifications. The pickups have been swapped to newer dirty fingers pickups. They sound great! Hi output and crunch up nicely. The bridge and the tailpiece have also been replaced with newer gold replacements. The finish is checking a bit and peeling on the front and there are some dings and dents throughout consistent with an instrument that was played through its long life. The most gnarly of them on the bottom left point; there are two large dings/chips toward the edge there. The back has some light scratching and dings but nothing too major. It’s just been set up and plays great! the frets are very clean with no real wear. Overall still looks awesome! Rock n Roll time machine!
Comes with the original hard shell case.
