Hello and thanks for looking
I have for your consideration an unknown neck model of Gibson USA humbucker that I picked up in a trade. I do know its about 14k (as evidenced in the picture with the meter) and that it works. Thats hot for a neck pick, but Gibson did in fact make neck pickups that hot around the mid 70’s and thats where I suspect this one is from. It certainly has the patina for it.
This one looks like it had a gold cover at one point and time and still has gold pole piece screws, it makes me think it would’ve been pulled out of a Les Paul Custom of the time, you can see a “T” and the Gibson USA branding on the bottom of the baseplate, also please note these are the long leg baseplates.
Im not a gibson pickup expert but I will answer any questions I can
-mounting screws NOT included
- you can see the insulation on the wire looks like its coming out of the baseplate hole but everything is still firmly attached, the hookup end of the wire is already paired up and the insulation is intact
-Its a pretty old pickup, and its has scuffs and scratches, but it does work great, I tested it right before listing
-sales are final, so please make sure you really want it because once its yours, its yours
Thank you for your time
