Ever considered building your own pedal? MAS Effects has developed the ultimate kit to get started in this fun and rewarding hobby. This kit is meticulously designed to be

* Fun and easy: We'll teach you to solder, give you all the guidance you need (booklet, video, forum support, and more), and have eliminated the most common sources of problems such as off-board wiring and sorting through parts.

* Very affordable! But it's not a bag of parts and a "good luck!" We've pre-sorted them for you, and given you tons of resources to succeed (books, videos, practice kit, and more). How? FOCUS. We focused on one and only one kit: a vintage style fuzz circuit. We have other kits available, but they won't have the same amount of supporting materials as you'll find here.

What you get:

• Pre-sorted collection of all the parts needed to build your own fuzz pedal (power supply not included)
• Pre-drilled Enclosure. By default this is plain aluminum with a faceplate, and you can decorate it however you like, but we also have lots of powder coated and UV printed designs to pick from. Please reach out and ask about a design's availability before ordering since our stock is always changing.
• Practice soldering kit, free "How to Solder" PDF booklet and video (printed available too)
• Printed instruction manual, videos, illustrations, and forum support
• Lots of fun and useful extras (wrench tool, DIY pedal merit badge, swag, etc)

What you need:

A soldering iron, solder, and flush cutters. That's it!

We've carefully designed this kit to require minimal tooling.

There are other nice-to-have tools and supplies, but you can get by without them.

The circuit:

This is a variation of the Bazz Fuss, a popular simple vintage-style fuzz circuit. It sounds best FIRST in your chain, with the guitar plugged directly into it and no pedals before it. To change its position in the chain, we also sell an optional add-on pickup simulator kit that can be built into this pedal.
