Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...

Another one of my personal guitars.... This guitar was made and designed for my two performances with The Fabulous Bonnevilles. We played two reunion gigs with it. It sounded great and its in MINT Condition!

I worked with Brandon Darner of BiLT guitars to design this custom look. It was one of the first MERC model guitar they had built. We have called this particular Captain America for obvious reasons!

This guitar has a Custom White with Red and Blue stripes, Hi Gloss Nitro finish, Solid Sassafras Body, Set Hard Maple Neck and Kluson Whammy Bridge. A Polished Bone nut and then there are the pickups.....

These pickups are Lindy Fralin Blues Specials with white covers... I have played a lot of Strat Style pickups...These pickups meet or exceed any pickup I have ever owned or used. They sound wonderful. Full of life and very toneful.

Check out the workmanship on the paint job of this guitar. The Pickguard is back painted with the custom Red White and Blue Star Design. Its acrylic painted. The body is High Gloss White with the Rd and Blue Stripes wrapping around the curves of the body. The neck has a medium C profile with a 9.5 radius. It has a 25.5 inch scale neck and the nut measures 1 5/8 inches. We used Medium/Jumbo 6100 fret wire. (.110-.55). The neck feels awesome! The guitar weighs 8 lbs 10 ozs...

We're a small company

Unless the proverbial ship comes in, you will more than likely be talking directly to the guy who is going to be carving your neck. You know, we actually like it that way because we can find out exactly what you need and deliver it. We actually care. In our opinion, the best marketing is word of mouth. We will go to great lengths to make sure you are satisfied with your guitar. Happy owners make better music and that makes us happy… so we’re all happy.

Technology!

We employ the latest building techniques as of about 1949 which includes hand tools and some machines powered by induction motors. Not to say we wouldn’t love having all of our parts arrive via long slow boat from china and we just assemble and pay for magazine ads. That’s just not in the cards, so we have to make everything by hand.

No fancy dancy woods

Not that we don’t appreciate the beauty, there are just plenty of folks making guitars with AAAAAAA, double star, prehistoric growth, eyeball flipping, got it from the bottom of a swamp etc. grades of woods. We drive to our supplier, sort through stacks of alder & maple and pick out nice plain clear boards that rock your face off.
