Fender 62 Reissue Telecaster. SERIAL NUMBER: S032160. COLOR: Olympic White Finish. WEIGHT: 7lbs 15.8ozs (3kg/620g). This guitar is in excellent and almost unplayed condition. No marks, dings, dents, or swirling. This Tele was made in Japan and has been customized with a number of upgrades. The Olympic White body. Gold hardware on this guitar, all Fender stock with exception to the gold abalone knobs and Wilkinson high grade gold single line stamped tuners. Modifications include copper shielding in the pickups and electronics cavities. Professionally done. The pots and 4-way switch have been upgraded. The pots are CTS pots stamped dated 0621 and 0622, denoting the 21st and 22nd weeks of 2006. The pickups have been upgraded but we are not sure about the manufacturer. The bridge pickup has a hot reading of 9.63k while the neck pickup reading is a strong 6.58k. The gold knobs have been upgraded to gold with abalone tops. The pickguard is a light mint green guard that blends with the Olympic White body and gold hardware perfect. Very faint pick marks on the pickguard. The neck is in excellent condition, NICE grains on the maple stock as well as the rosewood fretboard. Neck has a 7.25 radius, medium C shape profile. Hardly any fretware, plenty of life left. Stamped on the lower end of the neck is S032160 Crafted in Japan. Decal is below the finish. The Telecaster comes with its gold ashtray bridge cover. The Sale includes a brand-new Fender vintage style brown tolex case with keys and an additional pickguard with abalone pattern.
