An original 1968 Sunn Solarus combo in good working condition. All parts date 1968 except for one transformer which I think may be 1972. They made the combo version for only two years (1967-68) and then made it as a piggy back. The combo version is 40 watts and though they originally came with EL34 power tubes, this one has been set up with 2 6L6's. As it has a 3 prong grounded power cord, I believe this amp was looked at in recent years and along with the cord I think some old caps were also replaced along with one transformer which is why everything is working and it sounds so good. a big combo but a unique classic sound. The amp breaks up nicely when cranked and at 40 watts, not crazy loud. Two Jensen 12" speakers. Not sure who signed and dated the inside of the amp. Local pickup only, in Chattanooga, TN.
