Phil Jones Custom Alembic Omega 1988

This is a bass made by Phil Jones with Alembic parts. It is a custom order one off.Not sure of the confusion but it was made by Phil Jones not Alembic. If it were ALEMBIC it would just say ALEMBIC! A Custom guitar by Phil is a very rare bird. You will not find many anywhere.Here is a 1 of 1 Custom Made Bass Guitar from the famed Phil Jones that was the head of Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, also Gruhn Guitars luthier.Phil actually designed the rare Gibson EB 650 and EB 750. Less than 50 of each made from what I understand. This was a custom order that Phil must have done in the Gibson Custom Shop for a friend?? The parts are Alembic as you can see. This is an incredible sounding and playing bass.As you can see in the pictures the bottom Omega cut away has some damage, must have splintered off? This is how I got it.I could only find a custom SG made special order that sold for 8k. Not much to compare it too other than you get a custom made Alembic at a very good price. You be the judge.
