Here you have a 14" Sakae logo batter head. This is a Remo Controlled Sound Coated Bottom Black Dot white batter drum head - perfect for a 14" snare or tom. It is the CS-0114-10 made by Remo for Sakae factory made snare drums. The Remo Controlled Sound Coated Bottom Black Dot features:
- Focused mid range tones with added durability
- 1-ply 10-mil Coated film and a 5-mil Bottom Black Dot
- Ideal for all Snare drum applications
- Center Dot adds durability and overtone control
If you are reading this, you probably already know about Sakae, the renowned Japanese drum manufacturer that made Yamaha's most innovative and world famous drums for many years. They no longer make Yamaha's shells and finishes, but Sakae still make incredible percussion instruments today. These heads come from the 2015-2016 era when Sakae was making some absolutely amazing sounding and looking drums. These were the heads they used on some of their snare drums as they left the factory.
