Gibson Les Paul ‘60s Tribute Satin Tobacco Sunburst 2012 Left Handed Electric

Here for sale we have a left handed Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute Electric Guitar in Satin Tobacco Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 20212, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted, including a Tune-O-Matic bridge, StopBar tailpiece and Tronical Min-Etune robotic tuning system. A pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbucking pickups are installed, with a Burstbucker 1 in the neck and Burstbucker 2 in the bridge. These are wired to the standard Les Paul controls. 

The Mahogany neck plays well, having been carved into the slimmer 60’s profile. This is perfect for the guitarist looking for a more modern playing experience. Popular amongst players who prefer quick and technical styles and a neck which is easy to navigate, the Satin finish to the rear of the neck enhances the easy playability of this instrument. The traditional 12” fingerboard radius remains as practical for melodic and chordal playing as ever whilst the Rosewood provides a smooth and durable playing surface. The pearloid trapezoid inlays are a nice touch usually reserved for more premium models, whilst the 1.7” nut width offers ample string spacing for articulate note separation. 

The pickups installed in this instrument are a pair of Gibson Burstbuckers, with a BB1 in the neck and BB2 in the bridge. This is a very popular set which offers one the most accurate recreations of vintage PAF humbuckers available from Gibson. They produce plenty of bite and grit as you would expect from a Les Paul, whilst remaining buttery and smooth. The neck is round and warm, with enough power to push your lead and solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge is bright and snappy, saturating into a thick distortion when driving the amp. The traditional Les Paul control layout is as practical as ever, facilitating quick and easy tone changes whilst playing.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall good condition. Light scratching and indentation can be seen to both the front and rear edges. Light scratching can be seen in places to the front face, difficult to discern against the finish. The rear of the headstock displays a repair, which can be felt under the finger. This has been completed to a professional standard with no flex under pressure, now presenting no structural concern. 

Neck: Overall excellent condition, a small chip to the first fret towards the nut is visible in the fingerboard. This is not felt in playing position and does not detract from the overall playability of the instrument. The rear of the neck presents minimal markings. 

Body: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, visible only under direct light at certain angles. Both the front and rear edge demonstrate mild indentation, not piercing the finish. These light indentations are also visible to the sides and rear face. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.
