The Gold Tone CC-50R banjo features a maple rim with a rolled brass tone ring and a maple resonator for bright, articulate tone. The fast-action neck is hard maple with a rosewood fingerboard for easy, accurate fingering. The CC-50RP is practically two banjos in one; players can detach the 13-inch maple resonator quickly for a darker, warmer tone that’s perfect for clawhammer and folk.
Other features include a geared fifth-string peg, maple bridge with ebony cap, a terminator tailpiece and GT Planetary tuners. It even comes with a gig bag for travel. For the beginning Bluegrass player or hobbyist, it would be hard to find a better value than the Gold Tone CC-50RP bluegrass banjo.
