Ibanez Roadstar II RB650 1985 - seafoam green

This is a unique Ibanez Roadstar II 4-string bass from 1985 !

The PJ (RB650) version with a Precision and a Jazz Pickup.

The bass has been refinish in seafoam green, has a new tortoise custom pickguard (from Goldo) and the original shitty black knobs (with no level indicator) has been changed for original Ibanez Supergrip knobs (taken from an Ibanez 1980 Roadstar Bass)

The original white pickguard and knobs will be supplied.

It is originally mounted in DiMarzio DP122 (Model P) and DP123 (Model J). These are excellent pickups. The plastic covers of the pickups is very dry (40 years old !) but they are hard to find (not imported) in France.

The electronics cavity has been shielded. Everything else is original and works perfectly. The Made in Japan (MIJ) quality is obvious.

The strings are low and the bass is well tuned. The frets are in good condition.

It has the original wings strap buttons.

In short, the bass is ready to play for the next 40 years.

The bass is fitted with a new set of 45-105 RotoSound Swingbass 66. Best set of strings for this bass.
