PedalPCB LGSM Little Green Scream Machine (based on Tubescreamer) with Integral Amp Channel Switch 2024

Handmade LGSM (Little Green Scream Machine) pedal, using a circuit board from PedalPCB. This is based on the classic Ibanez Tubescreamer 808 boost pedal design. Uses a Boss-standard center-negative 9v power supply (not included).

The pedal is enclosed in 125B aluminum housing, and made from high quality components (Neutrik jacks, Lumberg power jack, Taiway switches, Cusack pots, Wima/Nichicon/Panasonic capacitors), so it will stand up to use and time. Function tested for the demo but otherwise unused.

What makes this pedal unique is it has an integrated amp channel switcher. If you’re the kind of player that likes to use a boost on the dirty channel to tighten your tone, then you typically will play hopscotch when switching between clean and dirty by hitting both the boost pedal and the channel switch at the same time on separate footswitches. This additional switching circuit replaces that by combining a channel switch with activating the pedal. The switch uses a standard TS or TRS instrument cable to the amp footswitch jack, and features a three way toggle that will let you select the tip or ring of the cable to change the channel, or turn the amp switching functionality off entirely. See the video for operation.

This is a great feature for live players to keep things simple on stage, just one stomp to change between clean and boosted dirty tones. You can even use this as a standalone footswitch in a pinch by taking it out of the signal chain and using just the footswitch connection, no power needed.

There are a few scuffs on the sides and back from handling the case during drilling, and there is an iron-touched capacitor, so giving a discount! Pedal works perfectly and matches up tonally with my own TS. Any questions, feel free to ask! Thanks for looking.
