Here is a newly built custom '65 Stratocaster relic.
The guitar is all Fender USA Pure Vintage components except for the MJT body in aged faded candy apple red nitro finish (looks burnt orange) and Callaham '60s style vintage bridge with Fender patent pending pure vintage saddles.
The neck is new Fender USA '60s with pearl dots and nitro factory finish (same as used on Fender '60s American Strat model) with factory logo and 9.5" radius. Tuners are single line Kluson. Neck plate is reproduction '60s serial number.
Electronics are Fender Pure Vintage '65 pickups with CTS 250k pots, 5-way switch, and cloth wire.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 10oz and is extremely resonant and sustains like few Strats I have ever heard.
A fender hard case is included.
Please note the back plate cover is included but the holes have not been drilled. Please let us know if you want the plate installed before shipping.
